The Choice
Is Yours |
The
latest technology makes it possible.
Upon
an initial examination, your dentist decides
if Invisalign is appropriate for you.
Treatment begins with taking records of your
smile and impressions of your teeth, which are
then submitted to Invisalign. Invisalign,
using the latest advances in 3-D computer
technology, carefully produces from the models
of your teeth a series of precisely customized
Aligners. You then wear each set of
Aligners for about two weeks, moving your
teeth gradually - week by week, until the
intended result: straighter and more
healthfully aligned teeth. Generally,
you visit your dentist no more often than you
would with braces and the length of the
treatment is about the same. |
How
It Works
You wear each set of aligners for about 2
weeks, removing them only to eat, drink,
brush, and floss.
As
you replace each aligner with the next in the
series, your teeth will move – little by
little, week by week – until they have
straightened to the final position your
dentist has prescribed.
You’ll
visit your dentist about once every 6 weeks to
ensure that your treatment is progressing as
planned.
Total
treatment time averages 9-15 months and the
average number of aligners worn during
treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will
vary from case to case. |
